I turned 40 in December. My 30s were full of discovery, fun and adventure. There were lots of challenges too. You aren’t alone in the struggles with motherhood. I thought I was a failure with my 1st (I now have 4 kids and everyone now asks me for advice). Enjoy the journey that both motherhood and your 30s bring. Didn’t care yesterday dont give a shit today probably wont give a fucl tomorrow shirt I started my MBA pregnant with my daughter and full time working. I was doing it cause jobs I wanted to apply for said mba needed. It took me 4and a half years part time nights but done. I was 32 when I had her.
And remember it doesn’t have to go perfectly. Get it done to the best of your ability and accept that it won’t be a smooth ride. I suffer from the same issues you do minus the child but I’m taking it one day at a time and just chipping away at my new goals. It’s worth it. It isn’t pain free but it is worth it. you will do what your heart desires. My cousin’s husband left her after her 5th child (he didn’t want the kids anymore or be married). Then a year or two later she found out she had Lupus (with 5 little kids). Hers is a long story but the abridged version, her Lupus went in to remission (a few decades now), she always wanted to be a nurse. As soon as the kids were all in school, she went back to school and became a RN. She worked hard and earned more degrees and raised those kids. When you want something bad enough, go after it and get it and it will be yours. There is always a way if we look hard enough for it.
