It’s so sad that so many black people did not know this. Me and my fiance have the books black wall street, and also Africa’s gift to America. That was never taught all they wanted People to think of us as nothing’s. Cause that’s what they were until they did what they did in June that bomb. that’s why today they call us the sleeping Giants, they never want us to awaken again that’s why our UNITY is shot to hell. Cause they know for sure if we ever could find unity they know we will uprise again, that’s what that sleeping Giant crap is about and it starts with Unity.

I studied black history and this is the first time ever hearing about this and other events recently…this whole conversation about race has really been an eye opener for me…thank you for sharing..know your history Surprises me to see so many ppl say they’ve never heard of this that makes me sad…I guess being a little activist baby I ran across a lot of history on my own…thank God for freewill or if jus be another lost kid in the hood Also one major reason for this to happen is at time when white soldiers were coming back from WWI. They came back, a lot them , to no jobs. They saw how well blacks were doing for themselves they were angry, and upset that their government had let them down. So they were looking for an excuse to destroy what black people had accomplished by their own “boot straps” so they decided any excuse was good excuse to destroy them.
