We dishonor the flag and everything it represents by promoting or even allowing injustice such as police brutality and killing against some of our citizens; and then on top of it all, twist and lie about why the protest are happening. This is a good time to be consistent. “my Daddy died for that there flag” arguments are getting old. No he died for the freedom it used to represent. Well I’m a veteran of twenty years service. And I can tell you that for me the protesting is not about US veterans.

IT’s not to be disrespectful to our active duty. It’s about the Country and that flag stand for this country. The police serve this flag as well. And that is what this protest is about. I get it. I don’t know why you don’t get it. And the flag that you see at the game is not the flag draped over our brothers and sisters caskets. I know this, Because that flag that is draped over a casket is given to the wife or family member. And it’s only cloth. For everything you mentioned as to what you did not or do not fight for. You forget you and I also served to preserve the 1st amendment. He swear an oath to support and defend the constitution. Even if it includes things we do not support or agree too. WE SERVED. WE ARE PROUD. But this thing going on with the police is out of control. So there’s is a lot more going on here. There’s more to this. It’s is not an easy fix. As a Veteran I will stand and show that respect you speak of.
