No doctor I have spoken to has ever called it a disease nor have they mentioned any type of cure. To add though on a personal side of things for my own situation, if there was a cure I would personally take it for my boy! I worry every day about my sons future, would he be able to do the jobs he loves? Would he be able to keep a wife/husband, have children? All of the things his siblings will be able to succeed at! I dedicate my life to his in hope that all the extra time I put in with him helps for his future. There for we are curing his future…. My children’s father showed no support or understanding or interest at all, became jealous in fact of the extra time and patience I put into caring for my boys. I am just honoured that god chose me to be my amazing sons mom, because I can’t imagine children like mine being stuck with a closed minded individual as a parent.

It’s so so hard to deal with! He is improving so well and I am so proud of him! But then you look at my cousins daughter she’s 6 and dosent speak a word! This she used to speak a lot! Any advice? Could come on every useful it’s not a disease, plain and simple. My child and my husband are perfectly fine the way they are and do not need to be cured. You can go on and on trying to justify yourself all day long but you’re still wrong. Just accept it and move on. Maybe you should read what your teaching autism in family aswell so I can talk but guilt is something different nobody to blame and loving it is better than hate of anything so except and try new ways of moving forward
