I think if they can teach the history (that has been covered up by Europeans) I’m a navy veteran I love freedom i wore dog tags i have a ddd 13 shirt then why not teach black history when it’s the truth… there’s a difference between a lie and truth.. and want our children no matter what race to think it was a bunch of roses

Schools don’t teach racism they teach history how many black or white friends does your child/ children have. Schools don’t teach the same race relationships/ marriage parents to do. Schools don’t teach children to hate, dislike, or look down upon parents do. My mother never taught me to respect and value you everyone’s opinion no matter race religion or ethnic background I’m a navy veteran I love freedom i wore dog tags i have a ddd 13 shirt it’s a choice to see color it’s a choice to judge people it’s a choice to poison a young mind with racial rubbish.. We are a nation of many faces shapes and ethnic backgrounds who cares about the past when the future can be so much better.

I agree that parents can teach racism, but in this instance, I did not. My daughter was brought up with friends of all colors, and she still has friends of all colors. She went to pre-school where she was in the minority and we live in a highly mixed community today. She didn’t know what color or racism was until she went to Kindergarten and came home one day to said, “mom, did you know that a long time ago black kids and white kids couldn’t play together and had to use separate bathrooms?” I didn’t teach her that, the MLK day celebration did. She was too young. Period.
