Ignoring my culture won’t stop racism. Ignoring my disability and teaching others that I ride horses because they don’t make dragons anymore shirt we’re all the same won’t stop ableism. Ignoring our differences won’t stop misogyny, but will only wash us over with a blanket that someone is bound to want to take off.

No offense but this isnt a fantasy world. You dont get to just make stuff up. The problem our culture has these days is political correctness. Why do we have to pretend we arent different colors? we are scientifically and genetically one race. Skin pigmentation is due to environmental factors. I ride horses because they don’t make dragons anymore shirt Denoting skin color as a difference between people is what we need to stop doing. Ethnic discrimination is what the term “racism” should be called. Sorry but this is eerily close to globalism. I’d rather celebrate each culture and i wish i could enjoy black culture without being deemed a faker or that kind of thing. Rap, rnb, blues are all great. Let us all enjoy them
Our common humanity is greater than our pigment. Coming from Ethiopia where we do not identify ourselves by the color of our skin, I chose to see myself as a person not by color. I do not claim to know what it is like to experience racism because I did not grown up here. My husband is part Italian and German. I tell my kids to identify themselves as American period not by color. I almost got kicked off my homeschool registration because I did not fill in the what are you question. They did not have mixed race as an option but they say I can check black and white. I said no thank you. I have no problem with listing my ethnicity and having pride where I come from, but I refuse to see myself and let my kids see themselves in terms of the color of their skin.
