my mother was mentally ill. When I see posts that say: Like this if your mother taught you everything you know! I think, my mother taught me self reliance! When she would call me a stupid ass, a voice inside would say, “I am not! And I will never call my children that!” I married a good man, by some miracle raised good kids, and have 13 grandchildren… there must be a God! I commend you for raising 5 kids. My daddy raised me too. My mom I loved her but never got to know her as a person. She was at home off and on. Was in and out of mental hospitals from the time I was 4 until she passed away by then I was 29. My dad was my hero I don’t know where I would have been if he wasn’t there for me. This was in the 1960’s, I’m sure I turned out as well as I did. Lot of bad influences.

I will never put god or anyone else for that matter before the happiness of my family so I applaud CBailey for doing what was right for his family you have no right to speak to him like you did shame on you I agree fathers are as i.portal as mothers and I know fathers that have had to step up and do it alone because the wo.an was no mother it we do have fathers day in my e and Horse i’m pretty confident my last words will be well shit that didnt work shirt I know your kids will e right there you are a credit to your children and i would imagine they all love you dearly you are an amazing young man who brought up 5 children on your own i salute you sir for a wonderful dad & person you are i would imagine your children are either in there late teens or early 20’s and will be there for you no matter what i hope you all have a healthy and happy life together God Bless you
