I agree, it’s sad that in some areas/instances in America, we are afraid to call the police to resolve our issues. My heart skipped a beat when I got to that part of his story, before I felt the relief/happiness you spoke of in your response above. As a Scot exiled in NZ I am indeed fortunate to have thought of the police as a positive action. Your statement is so unrealistic. how is America not that country? we have more immigrants than any other country? And those with nothing ARE given so many resources-healthcare etc. No where else does an immigrant have the opportunity to succeed and make a great life for themselves than in America. I’ll also point out that it’s not right to put our own citizens at risk or decrease their quality of life to let in huge amounts of immigrants.
