so you are saying a the majority of the main characters had to survive because there are three more episodes, so they had plot armor. Game of thrones not today shirt That cheapens the penultimate battle of the night king story line, which has been the main focus of half the series, and in my opinion cheapens the entire story as a result.

I don’t see how that was anticlimactic at all. It left their numbers severely dwindled for the coming war for the throne. That’s pretty huge. And when Arya jumped in and ended it, that was the most hype moment in the show so far for me. We don’t as yet know if any of the lore will play out or not. If there are left over characters that maybe should have, died they may yet. I don’t judge a battle by body count. I’m not that into that. There were a lot of bodies strewn across Winterfell. Just not the ones you wanted. I don’t want to be spoon fed, good gracious, Game of thrones not today shirt we’ve been with these people for eight years. I think we might, to some degree know them well. I thought the episode well done, the score was phenomenal as usual. Not much dialogue but it was a “battle” episode. Bran did his job as bait, that was his job, he knew when he gave Arya that dagger in season 7, what her part in this would be, it was written all over that implacable face of his.

I love how all of these Facebook pages at first was celebrating the episode and the characters and now they are all running the same shit again but they are shitting on the episode. I never once thought it was anti climatic, it was an amazing episode. Many years worth of Mythology and lore suddenly ended. We’ve had 7 seasons of building up how big of a threat the White Walkers and their army of Wights are to every living being, the coming of “Long night”, how “Winter is coming” for it to all end abruptly and pathetically. 3/4 of Westeros went unaffected. In the grand scheme of things they were pointless and did absolutely nothing to warrant such hype. A few hundred thousand wildings dead, several thousand unsullied thousands Dothraki, few thousand Northmen and few thousand men of the Vale. That’s nothing in comparison to the population of Westeros. Was at least hoping they’d make it past Moat Cailin.
