This is awesome! What a wonderful sweet son who has compassion, gratitude, kindness, appreciation, values and love. That’s the most important thing success should be measured by. Coworkers i bet you can’t get a 14 gauge in her shirt I want my babies to have a life they love and be able to love on others. They don’t have to go to college or have a high profile job. I want them to do something their passionate about.

I have 3 kids. One is amazing at baseball. Right now hoping he makes the high school team next year. One cannot wait to be a senior and a teacher. However he would really love a calm year before college. My daughter tumbles. Yet took a year off cheer to find herself. We do t have a to. Of money yet work full time. I love that they appreciate our sacrifice. And are okay when we sacrifice say a formal for baseball payments. They get it. Coworkers i bet you can’t get a 14 gauge in her shirt So far it looks like one of our three kids are going to college but we are just so proud of the young adults they are becoming! My husband and I both tried out the college life but is wasn’t for us.
We now own a successful salon and couldn’t be happier!! We just want our kids to be hard workers, contributing members to our community and great friends/parents/siblings etc. That is what’s MOST important to us! I can see your point of view. But you CAN have both. I don’t know if this a culture difference or not, but where I come from my parents have ALWAYS pushed me, motivated me, and told me to be the best at what I do. Going to college was not an option, it was a must. My dad could have easily helped me with some of my college cost but instead I worked a full time job and a part time so I can afford my college expenses. I love my parents for that, if it wasn’t for them challenging me I probably wouldn’t be able to handle any obstacles that have presented in my life.
