Yes, we rarely achieve what we set as life changes it’s course, but setting goals gets us through life. I watched a lecture a few months before about the millennials and how we are treating life. The biggest issues we currently face are the lack of purpose, demotivated and lacking social skills population. Most of them can only be fixed by goal setting and failures of life, so going back to my original comment, I think if what you do is what you are truly passionate about, you will learn on your mistakes and will see them as a positive challenge and if you can learn to appreciate little wins, you will always see the point in your next step. Life is though and rough and we don’t have safety blankets. We need to teach that. All my learners say that I am tough but fair and that’s why they don’t mind it. Telling them that it’s ok to fail isn’t always an answer
