I’m sorry to be so brutally honest but if that is the case it’s yours and the child father’s fault. He wasn’t born like that. You never established the limits. I’m sorry I don’t want to be mean but I have to tell you what I honestly think. He is 10 now. You are still able to make some corrections. You are the parent! And yes, he has ALWAYS been a difficult child – he NEVER slept as a baby unless someone was holding him, and as soon as he was put down in the crib he would wake up and start screaming to be picked back up. It got so bad, I had to give him his bottle while he was laying down in his crib just so he would fall asleep. As soon as he could stand up on his own, he absolutely refused to take naps and would stand wailing and screaming in his crib, trying the whole time to climb out, for an hour or more. We tried all the new ways of raising children with him; the putting him in his crib and walking out of the room for extended periods of time, 5 hours of him screaming and crying and trying to climb out of his crib
